Setting up your RLF Email on Outlook for the first time on this computer

If you are using outlook for the first time on the computer, you will follow the below steps. If you have used Outlook prior on this computer, you may be required to scroll down the page and use the next set of instructions.

Accept the license agreement

The first time you launch Outlook, you will be required to accept the license agreement. If you do not accept the license agreement, Outlook will close automatically.

If you do not wish to accept the license agreement, you can always use the Online Web Access (OWA) site to receive and respond to emails.

Microsoft respects your privacy, click on Next

Select the "No, don't send optional data" then click on accept.

Powering your experiences, click on Done.

Enter your primary RLF Email Address, click on the Connect button.

Select the Exchange option

Sometimes, this window/step may not appear. If it does not appear, simply move on to the next step.

Enter your email password, click on Remember my credentials

The top portion will state “Connecting to …” where that is your email address.

In the first box, it will show your email address.

Enter your email password. It is case/punctuation sensitive.

Click on the “Remember my credentials” box and then click on the OK button.

If this window keeps appearing, it simply means that your password is not correct. You may call Nivek IT at (720)924-6060for assistance on resetting this password. Please note, if Nivek IT resets your email password, you will be required to update this password on all computers and mobile devices that your email account has been setup on.

Confirmation Window

This window is to confirm that your email has been successfully setup.

Remove the check mark from the “Set up Outlook Mobile on my phone, too” and then click on the Done button

Emails start loading

At this point, Outlook is finalizing the set up of your email account.

Depending on your email account size, this may take take a few minutes to complete. Since you are using this email account on a new computer, it may take a few minutes for all emails per folder to display.

Also, since you are using this email account for the first time on this computer, you may need to adjust some view settings to see emails older than 12 months.

Lastly, since this is the first time you are using this email account on this computer, you will be required to setup your email signature(s). If you have a Plain Jane” signature, you can set this up on your own. If you have multiple signatures, please reach out to Nivek IT by submitting an email to HelpDesk@NivekIT.com asking for us to copy the signatures.

Adding your RLF Email to this computer that has already been using Outlook

You will follow these steps if your computer has already been using Outlook and your RLF email has not already been loaded on it.

Click on the File option on the upper left

Click on the Add Account button

Enter your primary RLF Email Address, click on the Connect button.

Select the Exchange option

Enter your email password, click on Remember my credentials
